Rhyley Griffith | Senior Associate

Rhyley is a Senior Associate based in the Middle East specialising in aviation, transport and trade credit insurance, dispute resolution, regulatory and commercial law. Rhyley advises on aviation-related liability claims, litigation and regulatory matters across the transport sector throughout the UK, Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. 

Rhyley has experience in supporting, advising and representing a broad range of companies across the transport and aviation sectors in both contentious (Court (UK and UAE Courts, DIFC and ADGM) and Arbitration (DIAC, DIFC-LCIA and LCIA) and non-contentions matters. 

In particular, Rhyley’s transport experience includes advising on:

  • aviation and transport related liability claims and litigation including hull loss and damage, subrogation, third party and cargo claims;

  • international trade and multimodal transport, contract, carriage by air liability claims;

  • insurance coverage issues across various policy types;

  • general aviation matters;

  • regulatory issues affecting airlines, corporate aircraft owners and other general aviation operators (including those relating to the emerging drones market and UAM);  and

  • reviewing, drafting and negotiating aviation commercial contracts such as aircraft maintenance agreements, ground transport agreements, warehouse and logistics agreements, cargo and passengers general sales agency agreements, aircraft operating agreements, ACMI and charter agreements for fixed wing and rotary aircraft, airport lounge, security services and concession agreements.   

Prior to joining Norton White, Rhyley worked for an international law firm in London and in Dubai. 

Rhyley is a solicitor admitted in England and Wales.
