Workplace Bullying and Occupational Violence
Workplace bullying and occupational violence can have significant and extensive effects on both employees and employers. In Victoria and New South Wales whilst there is no statutory definition of workplace bullying or occupational violence, employers are legally responsible to provide and maintain, as much as is practicable, employees' health and safety in the workplace. An employee who has suffered bullying or violence in the workplace can look towards a range of legislation and the common law to address the injuries suffered.
